Grizzlies up 24-19 in 10 mins left in 2nd quarter
8:41pm: The Grizzlies started out this game implementing their pace and it reflected after the first quarter. The Grizzlies were able to execute in the half court. This allowed their defense to get back and cause the Thunder some problems. It also allowed the Grizzlies to get easy buckets off of turnovers. The Thunder will probably make a run but this game will come down to who can continue to establish their preferred pace
You think Ibaka is mad about not getting DPOY?

9:10pm: Grizzlies 46 Thunder 43 at the half
The second quarter was still at a pace that favored the Grizzlies but the Thunder were able to get spurts where they pushed the ball. The Grizzlies have lived off of second chance points as well and the Thunder need to defensive rebound better in the second half. Also Kevin Durant is have a subpar game with 8 points. Serge Ibaka is having a great game so far with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocks, it has helped keep the Thunder in the game.
Keys in the second half:
The Thunder need to get Kevin Durant going and limit the Grizzlies to one shot.
The Grizzlies need to keep this pace, keep limiting Kevin Durant and try to limit turnovers.
The Grizzlies should feel great about the pace but the Thunder should feel great that they are only down 3 after shooting only 38% and only having a few transition opportunities.

9:55pm: Gizzlies 68 Thunder 65 after 3.
The Thunder amped up the pace a little bit and eventually took a one point lead. But the Grizzlies battled back to reclaim the lead. The Grizzlies have played better for most of the game yet the game is still a toss up. Both teams' defense is key
Kevin Durant isn't human! #FourPointPlay

11:00 pm Grizzlies get the win in overtime. This game could have been lost several times but the Grizzlies battled back each time. It was a great game and a great win by the Grizz but they have to be concerned that they played their best game and still almost lost a few times. Not sure if they can replicate that 3 more times in the series. Either way that was an instant classic of a game! We couldn't even get the highlight of Perkins game winning put back or Tony Allens sweet dime to Randolph to ice it in overtime.
We did not forget about this though...
